Introducing ADVR (Anissa and Danaysia Virtual Reality Device)
Originally, the idea was just to re-create SONY Play Station IV, a recreation serves no purpose, and lack innovation. There’s already a virtual reality gaming system available on the market. ADVR (Anissa and Danaysia Virtual Reality) is a virtual reality device. ADVR will administer a variety of digital services; an object that can be used as transit to any destination, including art galleries, shows and more; not to mention the built in gaming system. Why visit you locate gaming shop when you can make all of your purchases at home from you virtual reality headset. Although, our headset will include two detachable components; these detachable devices yields the abilities of feel and smell.
The Audience
With every invention its inventor/s must keep in mind the target audience; to profit thy must acknowledge the audience in which the sales will be made to.
This device can be used to the advantage of public entities. How? By obtaining a few devices to entrench into their own marketing system. For instances, airports can purchase these devices and station them in the central area of the port for tourist and those who wish to book a flight.
Before the device is released to the company it will undergo reprogramming, providing iconic monuments only (or whatever is requested).
Which will allow those who visit the port a chance to view their travelling destination, as well as book their flight. Not only will and can this device result in a growth in sold tickets, but, raise their impulse to actually purchase the ticket or tickets. However, this device can only used by those who are 18 and older.
Now, public entities are not the only focus group to be include in those to market the product to. Families, this devices can be used in the home by anyone from anyone aging 10 years and older. Restrictions can be applied upon a request made by parents, better known as parental control to limit what is available to their children.
Even artist are able to use ADVR inside of their art galleries as well as pay for coverage of their gallery exhibit on the app store, for those who are not in attendance. All paintings, sculptures, and more will be accessible from the comfort of ones home; purchased art well be saved digitally and sent to the buyers home.
Those with disabilities will not be restricted from this device, it will be quite useful as for they will no longer be bound to their seats in agony from boredom, or lost in a world due to their incapability to see and/or hear. The finger sensor will give those who are not able to see the luxury of reading braille and those who can not hear the sensational vibration to sounds on their fingertips.
However, the primary focus groups are families and companies.
Investors and Investments
In order to build ADVR devices, money must be supplied to fund space and/ or a factory to construct the device, there would need to be about 15 virtual reality technician specialist, employees to work inside of the factory putting together what can not be done mechanically, not to mention the materials needed to create all three pieces of the device.
The money to do this will be acquired by taking out loans, receiving investments from Artist, Gaming companies and public entities; which include local regional or state authority with the power to issue bonds, to finance some of their capital needs. Each investor will receive six percent from each device sold. With each ADVR device being set a seven hundred dollars before tax, six percent of the seven hundred is approximately forty two dollars this amount will be paid to investors upon each sale. However, that is the standard contract for an investment of one to two hundred thousand dollars, lower proposal will receive another contract with a lower profit percentage.
Gaining Interest and Attraction
In order to gain public interest, investment will be made towards the following:
- Social media outlets such as, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter.
- Placed AD’s on virtual online gaming sites.
- POP-UP SHOPS – allowing people to test the product.
- Sending our device to celebrities, so that we gain the interest of their audience, basically using their platform to market our product.
- Creating a interactive website for our product.
- Billboard advertising in the most infamous cities
- Commercials with young hip artist, such as Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Kendal and Kyle, Young Thug and more.
- Invest in a direct marketing company, such as Executive Touch Inc., a company who specialize in selling products in person with a discount.
With these eight tactics gaining the public interest in ADVR should quick and easy. With a few catchy slogans the mind will commemorate and memorize to the abilities of the device and raise the public impulse to purchase.
What Makes ADVR Different?
ADVR in contrast to other virtual reality device are, our device will be equipped with functions to perform anything from games to traveling in a virtual world; attending gallery to purchasing art; giving those who are disabled a chance to experience the many wonders of the world; daily planner to Microsoft word; this device has no limit of capabilities. For example, the device is portable you will be able to roam the world with a device that is able to produce information on any building, product, directions, and more.
Will ADVR be Successful?
There is no doubt in my mind on the success of ADVR, according to Christopher Hawker there are ten must have ingredients to a successful invention which are passion, having a high value density, addressing a gap in market, having high RIO potential, keeping it simple, following a clear path to market, using exploit attractive marketing, a defined customer, having high, yet reasonable expectations, and avoiding hidden challenges.
These ten ingredients were listed on Entrepreneur.com, each will be explained:
Passion: Virtual reality has always been a realm in which I’ve never dared to go. Once the topic became one to explored; the possibilities on how to improve the virtual reality world became infinite, dwindling down to the chosen functions of virtual reality traveling, art, and gaming.
High value density: With ADVR you are getting more bang for your buck. The headset alone will give you a chance to explore the world and art galleries at the comfort of your own home, the attachable nostril and finger sensors will intensify the experience for only $700 in comparison to the Sony VR which only has one function which is video gaming for the price of $500; that’s without the purchase of your first game.
Closing a gap: This device is like no other it’s equipped to do everything from traveling a virtual world to attending a art gallery at your convenience.
High RIO potential: Selling this product in volume for its price will be no problem, due to our Executive Touch (direct marketing service) asset, this organization is stationed in infamous cities such as Miami, New York City, and Los Angeles. The laborers will provide pedestrian with discounts, which help with making more sells, beside those done in department stores, and to public entities.
Simplicity: ADVR will only have three main goals and that is traveling, art, and video gaming.
Follow a clear path to market: ADVR main marketing tactic will be using existing forms of advertisement, billboard, ads, commercials, and direct marketing.
Exploit attractive market: “Growing markets are easier to be successful in than shrinking markets. Also, some industries are much more receptive and hungry than others for innovation.”(Hawker, Christopher) As of right now the market for virtual reality systems are expanding and several companies are beginning to use virtual reality devices as a form of advertisement.
Having a clearly defined customer: In the case of ADVR there are some many potential customer it’s hard to limit the product to only one. However, if we must it would be to those 18+ who love traveling, art, video gaming and companies.
Personal limits: Hawker states “Walk before you run. Don’t stretch yourself financially so much that you’ll break the bank if the product fails. One way to cover your bases financially is to get other people to share the risk.” This will be no problem for we plan to solely depend on other’s investment to the company beside our own, the majority of the fund for the project will come from investors. (This information will not be disclosed)
Avoid “gotchas” and/or hidden challenges: ADVR will go through a series of safety testing before being released into the public. Parents will also be held accountable if something goes wrong as for the option to have installed into their device; child proof option will be disclose before and after the purchase.
ADVR has the potential of being a very profit and successful invention. For it yields all of the necessary components to do so.
