Electronic Medical Record & Electronic Pill Counter Container Will Be The Next Big Thing!

My idea consists of implementing electronic Medical records and an Electronic pill counter container. This idea will be both digital and service because it will help everyone
with in the medical field to be more consistent and aware of their patients medical status.
The electronic medical record device will allow medical doctors and other medical staff
to view a patients medical status from anywhere in the United States. This is a major advantage to all medical and healthcare professionals because it bypasses the red tape
of phone call to other doctors to find out a patients past medical history. The desired audience will be all health care professionals including doctors, nurses, medical billers, medical coders, pharmacist, radiologist ,oncologist, durable equipment’s, and dietitians just to name a few. Electronic medical records (EMR) have been in practice for a few years now but only a few hospitals have gotten aboard with this system. The electronic medical record and pill counter device will make it easier for doctors and medical staff to view a patient’s medical status as well as view what type of medication they are taking. This system also will be beneficial for auditors as well so that they can take a glance at a patients chart to see if all the correct codes are being used.
Everyone knows when starting up a new business can be some what difficult to get off the ground. My sales pitch will firstly be to know my audience which is everyone with in the healthcare field. I will present my idea to the lead physician or the chief financial officer who make all the finical decision for the company or organization. Then I will
explain in detail the benefits of having an electronic medical record and pill counter device (EMR&PC).i would go further on to explain how technology is moving at such a fast pace and people no longer want to be bothered with filling out information sheets that take up so much time and money. I will show a video demonstration on how the product works and how easy and beneficial it would be to any doctor’s office. I will also explain that this device would alleviate errors and save time as well as money. I will go on to ask your office is a very busy one, and consist of high volume patient interaction this will cut out the wait time as well as the any errors that may arise during the checking in and checking out patients. Once the errors are cut down to a minimal there is more room for productivity and once productivity is increase your finical profits starts to increase and this is a win, win situation for both medical doctors and their staff because when revenue increase, there is room for raises and bonus so the medical record and pill counter device is a no brainier for all medical associates who would like to hop on board. The electronic medical record and pill counter system will server as an asset rather than a liability for all who choose to utilize this system.

My project will stand out because their would be a recall system installed with in the device so that each doctor can keep a record of when was the last time the patient had visited their office. There would also be a systematic alert system when it comes time for any patient to be discharged from the hospital. This alert system will ensure that all patient who are being discharged will have the correct medication before they leave the
Hospital premises and all their follow up appointment are made before they get discharged from the hospital.

An electronic pill counter container will also be dispensed to the patient once they are discharged. This container will have a mini alert system attached so that it can keep a record of weather or not the patient is taking his/her medication on time or even taking there medication for that matter. The pill counter container will also serve as a reminder to patient who may have a memory problem or for those who have early stage of dementia. The Pill box would have a small chip device that would light up when they have not taken their medication. At first it will blink and blink until the medication is taken, if the medication is not taken it would stay light up until the medication is taken and if the patient does not take his/her medication the pill container will star making a chirping sound so that the patients knows that they have forgotten to take their medication. It will make that sound until someone opens up the pill container.
If my project is successful I will have a market for electronic medical records and the electronic pill counter container for all health care providers around the globe. I will also try to determine the capacity of my audience meanwhile, trying to measure my inventory so that there are no waste full spending.

In today’s society with the rapid spread of electronic health records most health care systems are already digitized. All important medical information will be stored in the form of a digital and computerized system. This will help empower all medical staff individual to make rapid decisions make those decisions with a sound mind. The most important part of this is that it assures the privacy and security of all patients. Currently privacy and security regulations in the healthcare field are being practiced and the HIPPA rules and regulations are being followed as best it can. However the United States remains intensely focused on implementing electronic health records and personal health records so that ultimately it would be integrated in the information exchange networks.
the use of health information technologies and open health care data will contribute significantly to more affordability and improvements’ with in the health –care net work this will help patients to more rapidly access the health-care information network.
Over the next decade internet informed patients will become more active partners in the promotion of their health in partnership with the doctors and health care providers.
By the year 2025 medical decision and treatment will continually improve as they become based on greater access to better data and health information. New wearable body sensors will capture continuous physiological data streams will become widely available for use by 2020. It has been predicted that almost a hundred percent of Americans will have health insurance from Medicare or Medicaid .By 2020 technology will result in better measurement of outcomes which in turn will result in improved clinical guidelines and documentation of best practice. With in the same year 2020 health information technology (HIT) system will enable managed care to move from a restrictive gatekeeper role to better coordinating treatment in a more cost effective way.
Large quantities of hard data collected by electronic health care records system will be automatically transferred to public health data repositories via (HIE) networks, resulting in improved public health, medical research , and capabilities to responding to potential threats. the emphasis in health care will continue shifting to disease prevention and health promotion. There would also be a continuing shift to personalized health care through 2025 encouraging patients to become more empowered and intimately involved in managing their own healthcare. Open access and open data will remain hot topics in the healthcare arena over the next decade with major implication for researches, publisher, and the creation of many new startup companies. Regenerative medicine will began to advance rapidly. Complete organ replacements grown from stem cells will become possible in 2020-2030.replacement organs such as kidneys and livers should develop by 2030 and will start to be implanted in humans. Other advances will include teeth regeneration, cures for hearing loss , limb replacement and much more. Many new free and open access health Education and training technologies and solutions will be a prime area for major innovation and change over the coming decade.
It is also predicted that by 2020 Scientist will star to customize drugs for their patients based on their genetic makeup also combined with advance robotics, avatars could provide feedback from the sensors providing touch and smell as well as aural and visual information to the operator. By the year 2030 and beyond human augmentation spans a wide gamut of technologies, ranging from implants and prosthetic to powered exoskeletons. Human augmentation will enhance out innate human abilities. It could be used to replace missing limbs or correct defective functionality. Elderly people could ultimately benefit from powered exoskeletons that assist wearers with simple walking and lifting activities improving the health and quality of life for aging populations as well as many disabled individuals.
Therefore, the Electronic medical record and pill counter will be an asset in the years to come with a population expectant growth of 80 percent of humans and the health care industry growing at a rapid
pace. That is why it is a wise decision to invest in electronic medical record and and any other technological device that may seem fit to benefit our elderly and sick individuals. A New and exciting
